1st Christmas

So Christmas has come and gone SO quickly! It's kind of sad, but the thing we must remember is how much fun we had! I love Christmas time because everyone is so laid back, hanging out and visiting with family we don't always get to see, staying up late, and just having an all around good time. It was very different this year being a parent myself. I know Alexis wasn't old enough to really understand what Christmas is all about obviously - she was excited for the bows and tissue paper, but now I really get a better idea of how my parents and any parent for that matter feels at this time of year. Yes the stress of running around, and the wrapping, and remembering who you have to buy for, and mailing those darn Christmas so they reach everyone on time can really bog you down, but watching Alexis come down Christmas morning and the first thing she said was "ooouuuuu" as she saw the lite Christmas tree with lots of brightly coloured presents underneath was precious! I almost can't wait for next year, when she's just even a little bigger, and her response then. Anyways, I've rambled but I just wanted to say what a special time this was, and what a great Christmas we had.

As I said, Alexis had a great Christmas, and let's just say that this little girl was extremely spoiled! She got lots of adorable outfits, and great toys that I know will keep her occupied for quite some time! We hope that everyone enjoyed their time with their family as well, and that Santa was good to them.

I have taken LOTS of pictures, and will post them soon!

8 Month Photos

Here are some random photos from this month, as well as pictures that I took when Alexis went and met Santa for the second time. Her Great Aunt Beckie a.k.a. "Mrs.Claus" was also there to have a special picture taken with her! Christmas is creeping up, and I am truly excited for Alexis!!! I plan on taking a whack load of pictures and video of the day(s). Also, another exciting event today. Alexis had written Santa and today received his letter. We read it together, and I will add it to her baby book, for future memories!
Happy Holidays Everyone!
