Alexis may just loose her mind when she see's him! "Ca-Ca" is her favourite show right now. Actually it is the ONLY show that she will watch from beginning to end. One night she wanted to watch it and we told her that it wasn't on ... and she cried.  So needless to say we bought her a DVD, this doll, and couple other little things for Easter.  Hope she likes him!

(PS - If you are looking for him we actually had to order him off Ebay from Montreal but I would definitely recommend the seller! Super fast shipping and he was packaged so nice!)

Outside Fun Part Two.

Day two of outside fun, and this particular day Alexis brought her beloved "baby" to join in the fun.  I took a seris of pictures of this game that Alexis kept doing. She really thought this was quite humerous!

So I hope you enjoyed this ... ahem ... post. I know it's not very exciting. Sorry. Anyways, this weekend is Alexis last swimming lesson and then she has a week to re-group and we start a new session at the end of the month. Hopefully I will be able to snap some more pictures this weekend - until then enjoy yours!



Outside Fun Yes? Part One.

We have really lucked out the last couple of days (as many of you know I'm sure) and have had some really beautiful weather which means ... I take Alexis outside for some fresh air and some vitamin D!  We recently purchased a little play thingy (that's a technical term) for her to use in the backyard as well since she's older and will inevitable need more things to do. We found this baby on Kijiji - gently used by actually a friend of ours that I didn't know was getting rid of it as she has more than one child and needs a bigger one. It's only a year old - well less than a year actually and in good condition - besides a little sun fading but we weren't worried about that since we're going to be keeping it outside anyways as well.


So since we got the climber Alexis has had a blast outside! I took my camera out with us yesterday to take some pictures of Alexis and all her glory!

Another great find from our neighbours who were getting rid of it (oh yea I have no shame!). Alexis loves her boat!

Sorry for posting all these sleeping pictures. But I find it so funny that one minute Alexis is having a conversation with me while drinking her bottle before nap time ... and the next minute she looks like this ...

The Little Things in Life.

I've found that it's the simple, you never would think about it, things in life that will occupy a toddler's attention. Case in point, this morning. Alexis sat and played with ... an empty pop box.  No need for fancy and expensive toys here.

BIG News!

Well for us at least! So after swimming this morning while we were getting changed in the woman's locker room, Alexis announced "Peeee Peeeee!". We asked her if she had to "go" and she said "Yes! Peee Peee" So off I carried her still in my towel to the washroom and wouldn't you know it - she peed on the toilet! First time EVER! I was so proud and was making such a big fuss/deal over it, but Alexis could of cared less haha. Hopefully she will continue to do this and we will be on our way to diaper free!!!

I just had to post this because I AM so excited by this!

Surprised to See an Update Here?

Sorry dear Blog that I have neglected you. I could tell you that I haven't had anything to post because of the following reasons ...

1) When I was sick I didn't want to do anything during the spare time I had at night but lay around ...
2) Alexis refuses to let me take pictures of her without stopping what she is doing and running towards me like a sumo wrestler for the camera ...
3) Since we have had such nice weather I've been doing stuff around the outside of the house ....
4) Some days I'm just not inspired to blog ... is that so wrong? ....

But would you believe me? Honestly these are all true. Bit look out ... new pictures and updates are a comin'!

So ... what have you all been up too?
