Welcome Beautiful

My dear friends Ryan and Robyn welcome beautiful baby Tessa this morning at 3:26 am. Weighing 7lbs. 10 oz.

She's adorable and amazing ... and I forgot how small they really are!

I can't wait to see how she grows up, and how her and Alexis interact with one another.

Awwwwww ....

Makes me want to have another one ... right away ... haha ...
but that's not happening people ...

The Apple Doesn't Fall Far ... Apparently ...

Here is little Lexi-Lou in all of her glory vacuuming up all the dusties like a pro! Must watch her momma closely!

In all actuality, Alexis hates the vacuum. Strange since the entire time I was pregnant with her I probably vacuumed everyday. No joke. I have a problem.

So ...

This post is a little late, but I wanted to share at least one picture. The truth is, I was prepared to take tons and tons of pictures of Alexis with her great-grandparents, and then once we were there ... I completely forgot. Every single time! Except for one. I did manage to remember to grab my camera once to snap this adorable picture of my grandma and Alexis colouring - something they both apparently love to do!

I thought this moment was priceless and I'm glad I got at least a couple pictures. I'm sad I didn't get the whole family pose pictures but I was just so happy for them to be able to spend time with Alexis, I completely forgot. Anyways ... this is what I got.

Who Would Have Thought? .....

While walking with Alexis today, my mom stumbled upon something. Something that would definitely be useful right now. Not for herself, but for Alexis. So she quickly came back home, shouting for my sister and I to come and see it. What was it you ask?  Well come and check it out!

Pretty snazzy eh? And the best part ... it was FREE! Can you believe that someone was throwing this little gem out?  Now it did have some crayon markings on it, and the phone and a sticker were missing,  but nothing that we couldn't just hose off, disinfect, and use a little goo gone on it.  But there is absolutely nothing wrong with it. The best part is that Alexis loves it!

So that's the story of how my mom found a little kitchen ... which has lead me to believe, that you can get really good stuff in fairly good condition for dirt cheap or free. I will be talking about this more soon!

I heart long weekends!

Happy loooonnngg weekend everyone! Hope you enjoyed your extra day to spend with your families or friends, or just doing what ever you wanted! We enjoyed our day with my parents and Derek's parents, along with a little trip to Bayfield to start the weekend off! Here are some pictures that I had taken.

A Little Inspiration?

Since its the first day of September ... I feel the need to get everyone's creative juices flowing for some Fall decorating. Fall understandably is my favourite season, for various reasons, and I love to decorate for it. I will especially like it this year since we are in the new house! I've done a lot of searching and googling fall decor and have come across some pretty nice inspirational pictures. Check them out ...

Just Sayin' ...

I have the itch ... I decided to scratch it a bit! Check out these Halloween costumes for kids from Pottery Barn ... too bad we don't have one here in London. I think there is one though in Toronto ... soooo cute!

I will however be purchasing Alexis' from Old Navy again this year ... I heart Halloween!
