At Four Months Old Alexis:
- Weighs (I will fill this in after next Tuesday when we come back from the doctors)
- Eats 4-5 6oz. bottles a day of formula and 1 oz breast milk.
- Sleeps through the night! She usually goes to bed between 9:30-10:30 and will wake us up while babbling to herself between 6:30-7:30.
- Still likes her naps, she usually has a couple during the day and they can be anywhere from 20 mins. long to 2 hours ... all depends on what Alexis feels like.
- Holds her head up like a champ! No needing our help there!
- Is rolling over! She did this for the first time July 15, and hasn't stopped since. It's really funny because she can only roll from her back to her tummy, but once on her tummy she doesn't know what to do and usually ends up whining till someone comes and helps her. Poor girl.
- Grasps things with her fingers.
- Focuses on you when you are talking, and knows her name. I've found she often watches us eat, which is funny.
- Still enjoys having a good old conversation with you, she enjoys showing everyone how high she can yell and squeal. Vocal cords definitely work!
- Still puts EVERYTHING in her mouth, I really don't know why I bother sterilizing her stuff anyways when anything she touches goes in her mouth ... ANYTHING! But her main things are her fingers, and she enjoys "gumming" my fingers.
- Loves her toys! She loves grabbing them, hitting them, drooling on them, sticking them in her mouth, the odd time she has hit herself in the head with them while whaling them around. She just loves to play.
- Likes her walks. She likes to sit up in her stroller now and look around outside while we are walking with her.
- is a DROOL monster! I swear she's going to be the "messy" kid, she always is drooling. I picked up a toy the other day and drool was falling off of it, it was disgusting .. she had literally soaked the toy with drool. What a girl ...
- Likes to lay on her back and grab her toes. When she first started to do this I thought it was so cute, just watching her roll back and forth holding her little feet.
