Even though we live in London, we have family who resides on the outskirts of London, around the Komoka area. Were able to escape the hustle and bustle and noise of the city, and able to unwind. My Uncle has a friend, who has some land and on this land he has some farm animals. I've wanted for some time now to expose Alexis to the farm animals just because I know she loves looking at them in books and playing with her felt stuffed farm animals at home. On this day however, I wasn't able to go (I was on my fun trip with the girls to IKEA) so it was a Daddy day, and Grandpa Eddy and Aunt Ashley came along.
Alexis was able to see the turkey's that they have. Apparently they are huge Derek said. She didn't want to get too close though. She saw the cow's and even fed them a little treat of corn.
Alexis even enjoyed a small tomato right out of the garden (cleaned of course)! My sister said she ate almost the entire thing!
A fun morning experience for Alexis and hopefully we will be back to the farm soon!
