Does This Seem Possible?

Awhile back while shopping at one of my favourite stores (Home Sense) I came across a gorgeous square fabric covered ottoman. Of course me being me, totally talked myself out of it, and left the store empty handed, only to go back the next day after I talked myself back into getting it ... and of course it was gone. Go figure! Then while searching all of my favourite blogs ... it seems to me that fabric ottomans are coming back, and that not too many people are buying, but more people are making them themselves!

I luuurrrrvveee it! So then I was talking to one of my design/blogger friends who also enjoys a good fabric covered ottoman ... and we decided that perhaps we will jump right in and try our hands at making our own? For real ... a real project. Of course we're not doing this, like this weekend, we have to find fabric, figure out materials and cost, I have to find out how to make tufted buttons ... but I'm excited! I think we can do it!

I've been searching the internet the last couple of nights for inspirational pictures and here is what I've found so far.

As you can see I'm all about the tufted top and gorgeous stained legs! I will post some pictures tonight of fabric choices that I've seen that I love!
